Modular Rooflight

If you want to bring more natural light to a large area, our modular rooflights are the perfect, stylish solution. They are manufactured separately in our workshop and then linked on site during installation.

Available in silicone seal, aluminium support and structural glass fin, modular roof lights link large areas of glazing together. They are more cost-effective, lighter and easier to transport than a standard solid roof light when a bigger area needs to be catered for.

As with all our roof and sky lights, SM Glass Tech modular panels have the added protection of our toughened, laminated inner pane.

Frame corners are welded together for extra strength, not bonded

Options

Available in a range of glass finishes, including solar, obscured or frosted
Option of silicone seal, aluminium support or structural glass finishes
Frame can be powder coated in any RAL colour
Ceramic or vinyl paint options – vinyl paint allows for a wider obscured region than usual, up to 250mm wide.

Standard Glass Specification

Outer: 6mm heat soak tested, toughened glass
Cavity: 16mm argon filled
Inner: 9.5 or 13.5mm low-e heat soak tested, toughened laminated glass

For smaller roof areas, we can install fixed flat units . And if your roof is accessible on foot, we have walk-on options that are tougher still.
